Portsmouth City Museum received a donation of a photograph of Mrs Fulljames in her nursing uniform.  It is also kinow that her son Reginald, born in Portsmouth in 1897 served in the Great War as a Lieutenant in the Royal Flying Corp and was awarded the MC.  Both Mrs Fulljames and Reginald are mentioned in William Gates book, Portsmouth and the Great War.

Personal History:

Edith Marianne Totterdell was born in Portsmouth in 1868, her father was a corset manufacturer.  In 1893 she married Gilbert a pawnbroker and they first lived in Southsea but in later years lived in Sussex.  Edith died in Sussex age 77.
