Kingston Cemetery

Kingston Cemetery opened in 1854. It replaced the old churchyard at St Mary’s, Portsea which had become so full it was a risk to public health. Many of the plots are named after people who served as Councillors and Aldermen such as Dashwood, Perkins and Evans.
